Kenyan celebrities are finally learning a thing or two! And while it took our East African counterparts to teach us how to really mint money off our brands, we are now set to see a revolution! And it has started with Janet Mbugua.

For those of you who do not know, Janet Mbugua got married recently.

And she is subsequently preggers and expecting the couple's first child. And as you would expect, she is overjoyed by the fact and so are her friends and family but she now has a much larger reason to celebrate; a large cheque.

Yes, it seems she will be making money off the fact that she is pregnant. Yes, she recently penned a deal with a leading Insurance firm that will see her receive some healthy monies for the next three years. And all so she can document her transition from pregnancy to motherhood.
