Come 2022 Felix Odiwuor alias Jalango will be on the ballot paper as he has officially announced that he will be vying for the Langata constituency seat as the MP.

Speaking during a Mpasho Live interview, Jalango said he chose to join politics because it's a good chance to better people's lives.

'I went to school to finish my courses at Daystar University where i also studied community development. I realized how much you can do for the community.

For you to make people listen to you, you have to make a difference in their life and I want to do that by making Langata great again.'

Asked on his advise to Diamond Platnumz Manager, Babu Tale, who has also thrown in his bid to run for MP, Jalango said,

'I wish him luck, he is vying in Morogoro where he comes from.'

Jalango said that going back to work at Kiss FM will be the last job he will be taking because his ambition is getting a seat in the parliament and serving the good people of Langata.

he current Langata Member of Parliament is Nixon Korir.

Jalango joins other celebrities who have in the past joined politics among them John 'KJ' Kiarie, Jaguar, and Steve Mbogo.
