As Kenyans battle Covid -19, Jahmby Koikai is now battling Adenomyosis. This condition came just when she was recovering from endometriosis.

So serious was the condition that Jahmby traveled abroad and stayed for more than a year seeking the necessary medical treatment.

Adenomyosis is a condition in which the inner lining of the uterus (the endometrium) breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus (the myometrium).

It can cause menstrual cramps, lower abdominal pressure, and bloating before menstrual periods and can result in heavy periods.

Talking about Adeniosis Jahmby said

'After a week of battling intermittent bleeding due to Adenomyosis , I woke up feeling way better today.

I'm recovering from Thoracic and Pelvic Endometriosis as I battle Adenomyosis at the same time.

I'm breathing better and my body is ready to restore itself.

I've lost 4kgs in a week which I now have to regain and achieve my advised weight goal.

Replenish lost blood through eating.'

Jahmby is however happy with the progress she has made adding that she is aiming for more progress in weeks to come.

'Finally, I'm hungry without nausea, which is a good sign. I can also take a break from burning my tummy with a hot water bottle.

God works in mysterious ways that we'll never understand.

Even this Adenomyosis, will be a thing of the past.Time to rest and replenish.'

We pray that she gets better soon, truth be told she is a fighter.
