Social media is the greatest tool of communication but at times it can destroy one's reputation. In this aspect, Kenyans are savages. They have brought down a lot of companies like banks. KOT induced a bank run at Chase Bank that was devastating. This trend will persist if  the government doesn't take action.

Kenyans on social media have also adopted a new trend which is, killing prominent people online. The latest person to be killed is celebrated local singer Jaguar. Yesterday news went viral that the Kipepeo hitmaker had passed on in a grisly road accident yet this was not true. But why do this to a fellow being?

Well, from Jaguar to retired president Daniel Torotich Arap Moi, here are the prominent Kenyans who have been killed on social media.

A certain blog broke news claiming that Jaguar was no more but he came out to address the rumours saying that he was safe and sound. This has left Jaguar humiliated and CID are currently working round the clock to ensure that the source of the information is taught a lesson.

It all started as a rumour but spread widely after Kenyans on social media picked it up. They sent messages of condolences to the former Vice President's family describing him as patriotic Kenyan.
