The King of African comedy Eric Omondi has said that he is still looking for a wife after the first season of Wife Material ended with him still single. This time, he will involve his ex-girlfriends, Jacque Maribe and Chantal Grazioli.

"I'm turning 40 soon by now I should have a family, I realised during the shoot of wife material, 'Wait I can actually get a wife like this!'. But this is how I want to meet my wife. this time I want contestants who are over 23 years and above from East Africa. I will have 15 ladies in a house."

Adding,

"This time there will be no cameras in the bedroom or bathroom. We will have marriage councillors, and my two exes will also come, Chantel and Maribe to come to talk to the girls."

Eric explained that the exes would be able to help the 15 contestants understand him better.

"They will come and say what I like, what I eat yaaani, everything they know about me."

Eric said that he has been looking for love for sooo long.

"I started looking for my exes from Daystar and they are all married that was in 2014. We were friends and had a history."

Eric said that he is looking for a woman who will accept him for who he is, a comedian. He, however, added that Kenyan women are super-empowered, they gave him a run for his money.

"I lost 11 kgs in 3 weeks do you know how stressful it is living with them? Kenyan women are very exposed, I would rather have 10 Tanzanians and 3 Kenyans in the next show," he told Massawe.

Asked if anyone has ever claimed he is the father of their child, Eric said,

"I only have one child."
