Not another one?!
Victoria Rubadiri has jumped ship. The NTV news anchor has reportedly resigned from her job in the Kimathi Street based media house.
Uncertainty has gripped the media group over the decision by His Highness Aga Khan to deploy a team from France to review the media house’s operations, according to claims.
These claims were echoed by stock market guru and analyst Aly Khan Satchu who tweeted:
“Panic has gripped senior editors and managers at Nation Media Group after the company’s majority shareholder Aga Khan deployed a special team from Aiglemont Estate, France to probe activities in Nairobi.”
His Highness is said to have engaged Aiglemont Estate, a France-based audit firm to probe activities in Nairobi.
This is after mass resignations from eight leading columnists for different NMG publications resigned citing lack of editorial independence.
The columnists who resigned are KNHCR deputy chairperson George Kegoro, Muthoni Wanyeki, Gabriel Dolan, and Rasna Warah. Others are Maina Kiai, Gabrielle Lynch, Nic Cheeseman, and Kwamchetsi Makokha.
Larry Madowo just hosted his farewell party as he head out to another international media house.
Now, according to information seen by Mpasho.co.ke, Victoria Rubadiri has just resigned and she will be leaving at the end of the month.
Word on the street is that Victoria will sit in for Lillian Muli who will soon be going on maternity leave.
