The story of politician Isaac Mwaura and his designer wife Nelius Mukami is a sad one. The young couple, they experienced a double tragedy.
Mwaura and his wife welcomed triplets; two boys and a girl early last year but all didn't go well.
The couple lost a boy and a girl during the Jubilee Party nominations but kept the news under wraps. Mwaura unfortunately also lost in the elections and he took to social media to share the sad news.
His message read:
I went ahead to vie for Ruiru parliamentary seat, suffered political violence and eventually lost the election. Some people thought that I was down and out. Others even celebrated!.
Mukami and I even lost two of our triplets (a boy and a girl) and we were left with only one son and a hospital bill of 11.2 million to clear not forgetting that we were in the middle of party primary campaigns. It was really tough but we kept the faith.

Mwaura's wife went ahead to call upon Kenyan to vote for her and their son in the upcoming awards in different categories.
