Police in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) used tear gas to disperse youth gathered for anti-government protests.

A heavy police presence was noted in the CBD, which has been the epicenter of previous youth-led protest actions.

Tuesday saw intense protests causing business activities to grind to a halt in the CBD and other major urban centers across the country.
