A significant police presence is visible in Nairobi's Central Business District due to planned peaceful protests on Tuesday.

Photos obtained by Mpasho show anti-riot police patrolling in police vehicles.Officers are stationed outside key buildings in the CBD, including the Parliament buildings and the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

However, many shops are closed, and only a few establishments are operating. The roads are mostly deserted, with minimal vehicle activity.
