Kenyan matatus are becoming a thing of interest to international celebrities.

Matatu culture has embraced pop culture in it’s entirety.

From the graffiti of pop icons plastered on the bodies of popular matatus to the cool music played on huge screens, it seems a lot of people are investing in this booming Kenyan business.

And American female rapper Cardi B could not help it but praise this industry. This is after someone shared and tagged her on a photo of a matatu bearing her face on social media.

She wrote;

In the past, celebrities have been appreciating the Matwana culture and the most recent celeb was Tanzania’s Rayvanny.
