29-year-old woman has accused Imenti Central Member Parliament Gideon Mwiti for alleged rape.

It's alleged that the legislator who owns a bar opposite his office which is located at Krishna Center in Westlands had invited the woman for a business meeting in his office, before he got down to "business".

When contacted, the MP who had initially said that he did not know her, later acknowledged that he knows the lady, but refuted the rape allegations.

The woman was rushed to Nairobi Women's Hospital after recording a statement at Parklands Police Station.
