Esther Arunga’s ex-fiance Wilson Malaba, an interior designer and Events Organizer is happily married.
‘I think marrying Esther would have been a great mistake,’ Esther Arunga’s ex lover Wilson Maloba speaks out after she dumped him
At the peak of her career, Arunga who was set to marry her longtime boyfriend, Wilson in 2010 April after dating for quite a while, lost her way.
The former TV girl dumped Malaba citing infidelity as the main cause of their break up only to get married to Quincy Timberlake, in March the same year.
Claims Malaba rubbished and even sued over. Later Hellon also apologized for perpetuating the same lies.
In a past media interview, Malaba narrated how he was ex-communicated from the church, where they used to worship,
ESTHER THEN SENT ME A TEXT SAYING SHE COULDN’T WAIT TO BECOME MRS MALABA! THAT NIGHT, I HAD A DREAM THAT I WOULD BE SEPARATED FROM ESTHER ARUNGA. THE FOLLOWING MORNING WHEN I TRIED CALLING HER, SHE WASN’T PICKING MY CALLS. LATER, SHE SENT A TEXT ACCUSING ME OF ADULTERY AND ASKED ME TO STOP CALLING HER,’ Wilson said in part.
The two met through a social forum christened CINEMA (Christians In Entertainment and Media) that brought together Christians in the showbiz industry, where Joseph Hellon of Finger of God church was the admin.
He said the break up really affected him.
IT AFFECTED ME A GREAT DEAL, ESPECIALLY AFTER THE MEDIA STARTED WRITING ABOUT IT. I LOST MANY BUSINESSES SINCE NO ONE WAS WILLING TO WORK WITH ME. I USED TO LOCK MYSELF IN MY HOUSE. AT SOME POINT, I MOVED TO ANOTHER NEIGHBOURHOOD.
Wilson later moved on and tied the knot with his current wife in 2013. He showered her with praises during the interview.
I KNOW HER VERY WELL AND I MUST ADMIT SHE IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME. I DON’T TAKE SUCH BLESSINGS FOR GRANTED. IT’S NOT EASY TO GET A HUMBLE AND UNDERSTANDING WOMAN THESE DAYS. SHE IS VERY SIMPLE AND HAS BEEN SUPPORTIVE EVEN IN THE PAST THREE YEARS AS I WORKED ON REBUILDING MY COMPANY. LOOKING BACK, I THINK MARRYING ESTHER WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT MISTAKE.
In February 16, the couple celebrated their sixth marriage anniversary. In a previous post while celebrating their anniversary, Malaba penned a romantic letter, which read;
On a similar date 2 years ago, I said I do. An answer to a question I’ll never have to answer again. I remember that day as though it was yesterday. I remember the mood, the dancing & the cutting of the cake…an eternal union was birthed. God has been gracious to us & even blessed us with the ever joyful angel our baby Keliah. Day by day we grow stronger, bolder, more in love. I am stronger now than I ever have been. Thanks for being the lovely & virtuous wife envisioned in Proverbs 31. Happy anniversary my lovely wife.
