Kenyan socialite Shakilla has apologized to her mother after aan Instagram Live video of her talking about her body count and the names of the men she has bedded went viral.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Shakilla said she is trying to make amends as her mother was not pleased with her when the video went viral.

'When I did the video I did not know that it would go viral.

It's only later that I started receiving calls from all over the place.

At first my mum was angry asking what I was doing. She told me that she did not know how she would face people anymore.

She told me that she had seen my face on many social media pages, she really cried.'

Shakilla added that she and her mum were following each other on social media but she un-followed her (mum) as she needed privacy.

'She is a big fan on my social media, she used to follow me but I un-followed her as I needed privacy.

So when the video went viral my mum started crying saying that women had camped outside our house.

she also said that my dad had been hospitalized after his blood pressure went up after seeing my video.

I had to calm her down, we are still working on our relationship.'

Asked on what she would tell her parents.

'To my mum 'I am not the perfect child you wanted. To my dad I have nothing to tell him.'

Shakilla comes from a family of three and she is the only girl.

Her brothers are aged 10 years old and 7 years old, respectively.
