Eunice Wambui who is the actress known to Kenyans as Nyasuguta for her role in Vitimbi is a single woman by choice.

The actress cum politician, has been grabbing headlines since 2015 after she revealed why she bleached her skin. Nyasuguta confessed that she bleached her body after she was involved in an accident that left her with dents on her face.

"I was involved in an accident in 2013. I got dented on the face. The dent was lighter than other parts of my face, consequently making me look like a person who has two facial complexions in one.

I saw it wise to bleach so that my face gets an even skin tone. Actually it is my mum who encouraged me," she added, before posing: "Imagine a celebrity walking in the streets of Nairobi with dents all over her face; what will people think of her?" she said in an interview with Citizen TV back in 2015.

Recently, Nyasuguta also revealed the reason she is single;

"My mother has been more of a single parent to me because my dad left our home when I was still young. My mother's experience in marriage made me vow to keep off relationships. I love being alone. But the violent relationship between mum and dad fueled my decision to keep away from men who express interest in dating me. I fear being battered," she told eDailly.

Nyasuguta also made it clear that she has no problem sharing her husband with someone else. She says that it doesn't matter how many partners he has as long as he doesn't contract STIs.

"So long as I am wife number one. I love attention, so long as I am well taken care of and never lacks, I don’t care if my man marries other women after me. Mimi niko fiti (I am okay with it).

He shouldn’t contract sexually transmitted diseases from other women though. I fear STIs," said Nyasuguta.

Nyasuguta has been busy campaigning for Embakasi South seat and we aren't sure if she won the nominations or not.
