Speaking about how she got the new location for her salon, Betty said,

I knew I was going to take a risk but I was ready to do it especially during this covid-19 pandemic. I came here on a Monday with my manager (This place had a rent sign for like a year but no one had seen it) i MET my landlord and he asked for three months rent and three months deposit to be paid within two weeks but I didn't have the money,' she explained.

Adding,

Do you know the following day there were four other people who wanted this property. They came in with blank cheques. Do you know how God loves me? My landlord never took any of those cheques. I didn't have the money and I had to get it in two weeks and my landlord was touched by God to wait for me... iF YOU walk inside this property you might think Betty had the money but people don't know that God loves Betty.

The mother of one also revealed that it hasn't been easy working on the beauty parlour.

'I HAVE BEEN DREAMING OF THIS DAY. I CANNOT BELIEVE IT IS HERE. I WAS TELLING MAMA IDA THAT WE LEFT THIS PLACE AT 5:30AM THIS MORNING WE WERE HERE ORGANISING THINGS FOR YOU GUYS TO SEE THIS. IT HAS BEEN THREE MONTHS OF WORKING ON THIS,' she said on Saturday during the launching of her business.
