Death has struck politician Joyce Lay's family.

The former Taita Taveta County woman representative has lost her nephew.

Lay's sister, Margaret has lost her son yesterday, just eight months after she buried her husband.

Joyce shared the sad news with her followers. She wrote;

This is so painful my nephew Amos..why so soon? I’m so heartbroken 💔💔 My Sister Margaret, pole sana.. you just buried your husband 8 months ago and now your son is no more, brutal hands snatched his life away 😭😭 I’m in so much pain pls pray for me and for my Sister Margaret. R.I.P Son.
