Akothee, the self-proclaimed president of single mothers, has had a whirlwind of a week following her racy concert over the weekend and she has now had enough.

During a video she recorded on Wednesday, Madame Boss, as she calls herself, warned the media against calling her for interviews, adding she is too busy securing the lives of her parents.

In her one-minute tirade, the artiste said,

'ANY MEDIA STATION TRYING TO CALL ME RIGHT NOW, WHAT ARE YOU CALLING ME TO DO? WHAT DO I OWE YOU? TO ANSWER QUESTIONS I DID NOT ASK. AKOTHEE can you answer THIS, AKOTHEE can you answer THAT. AM I THE one who asked the questions? do the questions belong to me?'

The 'Give it to me' singer said she doesn't want to end up begging people for money 'pay bill' if her parents gets sick and therefore does not want distractions as she chases mullah. She said:

'I don't want to be begging people for pay bill, sh*t'

Madame Boss reiterated she is no one's role model and that even her children have the responsibility of picking and choosing the parts of her life that they want to follow.

She questioned whether media stations call her and support her when she releases songs and has shows or 'do I have to beg you to play my songs even twice a day only.' The artiste called for support. She said:

'Play my music, I beg o.'

On Thursday morning, Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris had an interview on KTN News where she questioned whether there was a double standard given to Kenyan women. On her Twitter page, she asked whether people would pay to go to Beyonce's show and superimposed Akothee's photo next to that of the US musician, provoking conversation on why the latter is castigated while the former is celebrated.
