Kenyan musician Juliani, whose real name is Julius Owino has paid tribute to Bob Collymore. Juliani was a close friend to Bob and was the only artiste who attended their [Bob and Wambui Kamiri's] pre-wedding in Naivasha.

'Sometimes I keep myself from crying because I know this is the last thing you'd want us to feel. You had the last laugh. You got to see James in a suit, a police escort of your body, me crying profusely throwing my "G-ness" outside the window as I mourn you and now writing this tribute in English. I felt like I am selfish wanting you to be here maybe things might be different lakini you needed to rest.'

Two days before your rest, I sent you a clip of white people being given instructions on how to dance, I hope you were keen to learn the steps. And you get to dance funny with the angels.
