Bahati is on a roll, On the same day he unveiled the face of his second child, he also posts a message for his baby mama, Yvette Obura.
Sunday was mother’s day, an Bahati ofcourse had to shower all the women in his life with love and appreciation.
Speaking about Diana on the Kiss FM Maloko show with Chito Ndhlovu, Bahati said, “One thing, me ni yule mtu anataka kuachieve, when I met Diana Marua, yeye ni mkubwa na ameniacha na miaka kama mbili tatu hivi. Kitu moja, siku nilimmeet, kulikua na mafisi wengi sana kwa sababu ilikua event ya kushoot.”
He continued, “So when you are shooting, because you are the artiste, you focus on the creative part. Yeye alikua free, like almost all the time apart from ikifika part yake ya kushoot. Watu walimpromise ata kumpeleka lunch, and dinner. Ata kama I knew this is the girl I would marry, I did not jump into it because I was focused on what I would achieve first.”
Then Bahati posted a message for his first baby mama too, Yvette Obura.
But hold up, the reason this is bizarre is because, a while back Bahati released a new single featuring Tanzania’s Aslay, Bora Nife, and made utterances that would raise eyebrows.
In his song, Bahati points out how he loved a woman who tore his heart apart. The gospel singer doesn’t mention anyone but, using the power of deduction, it is easy to point out who Bahati has penned the lyrics about.
“Nilimpendaga mwenzangu akaumiza roho yangu tu. kaniwazisha niwe padri nihudumie kanisa tu. Nikaogopa mapenzi tuu.”
Bahati then drops the gambit. Yaani, maneno makubwa makubwa ya kudhalilisha ex wake. The musician paints an ugly picture of his ex. One would wonder, is it fictional or real?
“Mama Yvanna, baada ya kumpa gari eti anitaki.”
Close sources tell us that Baha has never bought any machine for Yvette let alone his current wife, Diana.

Yvette Obura who is Mama Mueni’s mum, has never come out to the media to give her side of the story. But that doesn’t stop you from posting on her social media.
“Harmonize kwangaru: My darling … (whatever). Nobody can show you love, oh ukishawapa wanakwenda When you poor at lyrics but you love the song,” Yvette posted a while back.
Waaaaaah. That is very telling.
In another post, Yvette said she is done mulling over a past romance.
“There’s so much more to life than finding someone who will want you, or being sad over someone who doesn’t. There’s a lot of wonderful time to be spent discovering yourself without hoping someone will fall in love with you along the way. and it doesn’t need to he painful or empty,” Yvette advised.
Adding, “You need to fill yourself up with love. Not anyone else. Become a whole being on your own. Go on adventures, fall asleep in the woods with friends, wander around the city at night, sit in a coffee shop on your own, write on bathroom stalls, leave notes in library books, dress up for yourself, give to others, smile a lot. Do all things with love, but don’t romanticize life like you can’t survive without it. Live for yourself and be happy on your own. It isn’t any less beautiful, I promise.”
That said, Bahati’s message to Yvette was short and sweet.
“Happy Mother’s Day Mama Mueni. I Respect you as the Mother to my First Born Daughter.”
