Khaligraph is an embattled man.

His phone has been ringing ceaselessly after a parody account with his name and image promised to Mpesa fans money.

All they had to do is drop their numbers in the comment section.

The tweet from the account @Khalgraphjones, read,

"For the love that you've shown me ever since I started singing until today. From a cypher rapper in Kayole to the best rapper in Nigeria. I have decided to give out 20k to 30 people. Kindly Comment with your Mpesa/Account No. Stay safe during this tough times. We will overcome."

It was posted at 9:30 AM on April Fools day.

People fell for it. Hard.

They took to calling Khaligraph to canvas for themselves.

Khaligraph went on his official page to warn his fans.

He wrote,

"Fake Account Alert, eee, Kindly stop Blowing up my phone, I Woke up to 200 missed calls today, Corona Virus has affected us All, There is no money 01,41,050,015 #respecttheogs."
