His phone has been ringing ceaselessly after a parody account with his name and image promised to Mpesa fans money.

All they had to do is drop their numbers in the comment section.

The tweet from the account @Khalgraphjones, read,

“For the love that you’ve shown me ever since I started singing until today. From a cypher rapper in Kayole to the best rapper in Nigeria. I have decided to give out 20k to 30 people. Kindly Comment with your Mpesa/Account No. Stay safe during this tough times. We will overcome.”

It was posted at 9:30 AM on April Fools day.

People fell for it. Hard.

Khaligraph went on his official page to warn his fans.

He wrote,

“Fake Account Alert, eee, Kindly stop Blowing up my phone, I Woke up to 200 missed calls today, Corona Virus has affected us All, There is no money 01,41,050,015 #respecttheogs.”
