Tanzanian legendary hitmaker TID has for the longest time been adversely linked to the use of hard drugs when his career was at its peak.

‘Oooh siamini, kama tuko wote.’ was one of TID’s biggest tunes way before Diamond and Harmonize came onto the scene.

TID was the man who sang songs we wanted our primary school crushes to dedicate to us on those small notes they passed in class.

Now that times have changed, he has definitely been overtaken by the likes of Diamond, Ali Kiba and the entire Wasafi team who have taken over East Africa.

T.I.D is looking to make a comeback after drugs took a toll on of his life and career. T.I.D is now a reformed drug addict and he wants to take music and make it his new addiction just like before.

Talking to MillardAyo.Com the Nyota Yangu hitmaker said he is done with drugs and not looking back.

I've been through ups and down and at the end of the day i go back to the focus.

I will not go back to drugs again because it has costed me so much. But you know what, people think i wads born a tar but aim a human being i deserve happiness. I need to socialize. I will never go back to those stuff because its back. the society doesn't like it.
