A 24-year-old woman who went missing last week and her clothes dumped outside their gate was found brutally murdered in Meru.

Anne Kathure, a mother of two left work on Thursday night never to reach home only for her clothes to be found near their house.

A trouser, a top, jumper, pair of shoes and a brassiere (bra) dumped outside their house

She worked at Office Inn nightclub.

According to sources Kathure’s husband Nicholas Murimi, 29 said she failed to get back home at the end of her shift at 11.00 pm.

'I was worried when she did not turn up and her phone was switched off. None of her colleagues would tell me anything concrete.'

Ms Kathure was just two months into her waitress job at the Office Inn club located in Gitimbine area, Meru.

She was a mother of a 15 months old baby.

Her death comes barely two days after Robina Moraa was found murdered at her house in Eldoret.

Below are some of the reactions to the murder.

Peter Kimani: These murders are a direct result of police failure to conclusively investigate murder cases. Getting away with murder is the norm in Kenya.

Charles Oyago: We have lost humanity as a society.

Rudiah Wa Muchunu: She has been found brutally killed, those who did that may they never find peace.

Amos Cheruiyot: Which place is safer in our motherland? God's protection to prevail.

Fridah Muthinja: Been living around this place for less than two months and this is not the only similar case.
