'I was suicidal and even wrote a suidice note,' King Kaka's baby mama Sage Chemutai confesses

Many people commit suicide daily across the globe. September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) and King Kaka's baby mama Sage Chemutai, shocked many on this day, after disclosing that she was suicidal a few weeks ago.

The Majestic hit singer revealed that she contemplated suicide and even wrote a note, which she was to leave behind after she was gone. She promised to share it one day.

'This photo (above) of me was taken a couple of days after I wrote a suicide note. I was still highly suicidal (for the first time in more than a decade). The guy who took the photo had no idea. We had just had a wonderful breakfast and catch up. The details of the suicide note and attempted suicide, I'll share another time,' she wrote.

WSPD is observed on 10 September every year, in order to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides.

Sharing her story to help those going through difficult times in life to speak up, Sage added,

Today is #worldsuicidepreventionday and this photo is just a reminder that 'wanting to kill yourself' doesn't have a "look". However, there are signs.

There are several celebrities who've contemplated suicide among them Statehouse spokesperson Kanze Dena, radio presenters Lynda Nyangweso and Annitah Raey, Catherine Njeri, comedian Njoro just to mention buts a few.
