'I walk daily from work to home, I can't afford...' Shaffie Weru explains defending Rose Muhando

Rose Muhando has been the talk of the town with many criticising her for charging 50k for an album launch set to go down at Kempinski on February 27, 2021.

Defending Rose Muhando during an Instagram Live with Mpasho, veteran radio presenter Shaffie Weru said,

'50k for God is nothing! If you're told to pay that amount to enter the kingdom of God even if it's 500m si utalipa? She has given us good music, she's one of the best female artists to date and deserves it. She knows her market and target audience.'

'Even me right now I'm living on a budget. Nowadays I walk from work to home because I can't afford my kids' school bus. I have given them my car coz paying for school bus now doesn't make sense. I walk from the office to my home in Kileleshwa. Guys see me walking and people wonder why I walk. Some people even stop me to take pictures...yoh, it's life. I'm doing it because I like it. I drive to the office and walk back home just for my health. I use it as my exercise and at the same time, I'm saving money. Sh60,000 per term for two of my kid's transport, that's 180k for three terms,'he explained.

'Guys see me walk and they're shocked. Some even record me when I'm walking. It's crazy and tough times for everybody,' he said.
