President Uhuru is in the forefront to support Kenyan artistes. The president-elect showed his love for his own after he shared a photo urging Kenyans to vote for Nyashinski.

The Malaika hitmaker is nominated as the best African act at the MTV EMAs. He will be going head-to-head with other music heavy weights.

Nyash is among the Kenyan artistes who've managed to sucessfully make comeback after being out of the country for years.

He is currently reigning with the song Nakupenda featuring Nigeria's Yemi Alade.
