Socialite Shakila has revealed that she was once recruited in a lesbian group while in high school.

Speaking to Massawe Japanni on Radio Jambo, Shakilla said the group caused her to be expelled in form two after a girl who was a lesbian one day she asked to be her 'friend'.

She said as a quiet girl most of her classmates did not like her.

So after the girl asked to be my friend, I accepted without knowing what kind of friendship she was looking for.

They had a lesbian group which used to meet at night.

I joined that group.

It was a big group that I joined. One day I was taken for orientation which involved kissing and hugging.

Then there was a certificate that I was supposed to sign.

I was given two girls who we started a relationship with. One day, we were reported and were suspended.

Asked if she practised lesbianism Shakilla said she used to kiss the girls who introduced her to that group.

During the interview, Shakilla said she left the group after the suspension.

She completed her fourth form and got a B+.
