Kenyan singer Meme Hadhija, popularly known as Mejja, recently revealed one of his biggest regrets in a candid interview with eDaily.

The 'Jana Kuliendaje' hit maker said that he really regrets not making amends with his close friend before the latter passed away.

Although he did not reveal why they disagreed, Mejja dismissed claims that it was because of a woman adding that he took things for granted then.

“I was stupid. I regret it. I wish I was more intelligent to apologise and be in good terms with him. He died a bitter man. I took some things for granted. Now I am more mature, it hurts. We had fallen out with my friend one day, he fell sick on the same night and he died the next morning. We hadn’t reconciled,” Mejja said as quoted by eDaily.
