Weeks after breaking up with her celebrity boyfriend Juma Jux, singer Vanessa Mdee has expressed her desire to have a child whom she can call her own.

Speaking during an interview with Lil Ommy TV, Vanessa said,

I really desire to get a baby but God's time is the best.

Right now though I have things that are first priority.

Vanessa was previously engaged to Juma Jux but according to sources, the couple broke up last month.

The ‘Cash Madame’ hitmaker made the revelation during a Q&A session on Instagram after a fan sought to know whether she is still in a relationship with Jux.

“Wewe na Juma mmeachana??” the fan asked.

To this Vanessa responded by stating that it is indeed true that the popular celebrity couple is no longer in a relationship.

She was however quick to add that they are still good friends.

Vanessa’s younger sister Mimi Mars who celebrated her birthday recently had early on hinted at the impending breakup.

In an interview with Wasafi FM, Mimi disclosed that the two parted ways sometime back and now they were just friends.
