'Alinitumia fare mara mob sana' Kipchumba Murkomen narrates his dating experience with wife Wanjiru

Ever been asked by a man to send him fare? Most of us would not but for Gladys Wanjiru Murkomen it's something she did severally.

Gladys, who is wife to Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen, might have seen his potential.

The duo met while studying at the University of Nairobi where they were coincidentally studying law.

Speaking during an interview with Jalango TV, Murkomen said Gladys alikam through so many times.

“Alinisupport sana, actually, ‘alituma fare’ mara kadhaa (she even sent me fare several times),” Murkomen stated 

After leaving UoN, they both ended up in Pretoria, South Africa, where they successfully completed their Masters’s degrees.

The two would go on to date for close to a decade before they got married in December 2009.

Murkomen is loved and hated in equal measures thanks to his strong political beliefs.

But to Gladys all she sees is a good husband and a supportive father to their kids.

Her sending fare bore fruits as of today Murkomen is a man of means and can afford to splash his wife with a good life.

So ladies we endelea kukataa kutuma fare, you never know if that is how you will meet your future husband.
