For Damaris Nyandia Kariuki not even the death of her son Rev Peter Kania has shaken the deep faith she has in God, as she mourns her son.

Peter who before his death, was the secretary General of the Presbyterian Churches of East Africa (P.C.E.A) succumbed to COVID-19.

Paying tribute to her son, Damaris says she has no hard feelings as she had dedicated him to God and he achieved his life purpose.

'Kania my son, I remember when you were small and how you have grown in faith for

Christ.

I brought you up and dedicated you to serve God. I have no bad feelings that you have gone.

You loved me, took care of me, brought to me everything I needed to ensure that am comfortable. All your friends have become my children as you introduced them to me.

Your Family: Mama Njeri, Njeri, Kariuki and Joel you have left behind are now my children. My heart is at rest knowing you are with your maker.'

Adding,

'Am grateful as your mother, for you have left for me the servant of God Rev. Caro and Others to take care of me when you are not there, I know am not alone.

No word I can Write could ever say how sad and empty I feel today. “A mother love for her child never ends; it grows and grows and never stops even after death”

My son, you have fought the good fight, finished the race and you have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). Rest in peace.

my Son. We shall meet in heaven that is where we are all heading.'
