'I did private testing,' Bishop Margaret Wanjiru's son speaks out

The only son of former Starehe MP Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has set the record straight on the mum's health condition as well as his own.

Bishop Wanjiru was admitted to a Nairobi hospital with breathing difficulties.

Now, Steven Kariuki who is also a former MP for Mathare announced that the Bishop Wanjiru is doing better and she did not contract COVID-19 in a kesha.

In a tweet, Kariuki wrote,

"#IStandWithBishopWanjiru recovering well God answers prayers."

Adding that there was no kesha as earlier reported and that the 18 people are part of the contact tracing.

"@ntvkenya 18 people you are on about is contact tracing I did for last 2 weeks workers & family. I did private testing, invited MOH 2 come get all to the right place, doing the right thing there was no hosting mungu mbele."
