Vuteni stools!

Controversial gospel VJ and CEO of a DJing academy, DJ Mo is trending after he called Daily Nation's writer, Njoki Chege, "a single mother who cannot keep a man!"

This came after the writer wrote an article titled “DJ Mo a flawed view of marriage and should apologise for his remarks”.

The fiery article called out the TV star for having archaic views on marriage and courtship. This was referenced by the fact that in his relationship with gospel singer Size 8, DJ Mo tested her before he made up his mind to marry her.

And Mpasho broke the story:

“DJ MO’s flawed view of marriage is very clear. He believes that a wife is only good for cooking and cleaning after her husband. In this age?

The deejay needs to shed off this celebrity lifestyle and be humble. But first, he must apologise to his wife for embarrassing her and making her come across as desperate for marriage.

If you ask me, Size 8 is not the lucky one here, DJ Mo is. Indeed, he should consider himself very lucky for bagging such a beautiful and talented woman.

Be blessed, ‘gospel’ DJ,” Njoki Chege’s article.

In his response, Mo, told Njoki to look for relevance somewhere else:

“Someone tell Njoki Chege (have never heard about before )we are happily married and we are fine hahahahahaha- my wife Is a queen and I TREAT HER LIKE ONE – my WIFE LOVED ME WHEN I WAS AND HAD NOTHING so stop twisting the whole thing for relevance. Njoki you need to look for attention somewhere else.Am one Christian you can’t “Tisha “with your articles ” I pray for you to get married and please come for some marriage tips and advice. Ati I apologize – who made you the chair lady in the counsel of apologies enemy of progress,”

Fans started reacting to his post, one of them was Willy Paul:

Willy Paul @djmokenya umenifurahisha baba… nahitaji watu kama wewe hii Kenya

This was the climax of it all as Mo responded saying Njoki was a single woman who can't keep a man:

Djmokenya..@willypaul unanijua vizuri amezoea watu sana and I hear she is a single mum she couldn’t keep a man

Among women who have responded to DJ Mo is The Trend's Ciru Muiruri saying he castigated her for being a single mum:

Following him being roasted on social media, DJ Mo, has apologized to all the single mums, saying he was raised by one.

The gospel DJ has since then, deactivated his comments on the Instagram post responding to Njoki Chege.
