Now if there is an artiste who is vocal and different then it has got to be Ringtone Apoko.

The gospel singer is not a stranger to controversy and speaking out his mind.

The self proclaimed gospel chairman recently released a hit song featuring Tanzania’s Christina Shusho.

He has has gone ahead to declare himself as the richest gospel artist in Kenya during an interview on Full circle with Joyce Omondi Waihiga.

The Omba hit maker has also showcased his fancy shoes on the show claiming they cost Ksh700,000.

Speaking during the interview with Joyce Omondi the controversial artiste claimed he is the richest because he has linked up with all the big names of Nigerians who are also in the industry.

“I am the richest gospel artist in Kenya.” He said. Ringtone has added that he has accumulated a lot of wealth despite him not being the most talented in the music industry and not possessing good looks but found favor in Christ.

When questioned about bragging about his wealth as a gospel minister, Ringtone responded that it is okay for a gospel artist to brag about what Jesus has done for him.

“I am the only musician who does not sing to earn money because I already have money." Said the artist in the interview.

He emphasized that he is allowed to show off his wealth as long as he emphasizes on the Christ aspect to show others what Christ can do.

The heated interview saw him throw major shade at Bahati and Willy Paul who shifted to the secular world by claiming that they did so for the love of money, a topic which Joyce Omondi was quick to shut down.
