Who created death?? Death is the most painful thing to befall mankind. It is one thing that leaves even the strongest of people writhing in pain. It does not offer any joy, just devastation, and tears.

Exactly two months after popular Kenyan journalist Judie Kaberia lost her dad to cancer on September 26 this year, the prolific scribe is mourning the demise of yet another close family member.

Judie, an accomplished investigative reporter at one of the countries most reputable media houses, Capital FM, is grieving the passing on of her father-in-law, Peter Kabira M'Mukiira.

Peter, 79, passed on at the Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi on Sunday, November 27th, 2016, following a short illness.

Judie took some time to celebrate the life of her loving dad-in-law via a moving post made on her social media pages earlier today.

She wrote:

"I celebrate the life of a confidant, a loving and a bubbly father. A great and caring friend who loved to chat and know everything about us. A man who dedicated his life to bringing out the best in us and in God's ways. Daddy Peter Kabira, I will always miss you. But I know you are in heaven. Two months ago, you gave me courage when I lost my dad. You told me that I should accept God's decision because life is a journey that will end one day. It's the hard way that I accept you are gone. Rest In Peace dad."

Peter will be buried on Friday, December 9th, 2016, at his farm in Kiruau, Linjoka in Meru County.

Our heartfelt and sincere condolences go out to Judie and her family and friends.
