This year's #MashujaaDay celebrations were held at the Gusii Stadium in Kisii County.

President Uhuru presided over the colourful ceremony. The event was attended by First lady Margaret Kenyatta, DP William Prime Ruto his wife Rachel, Former Prime minister Raila Odinga, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula among other dignitaries.
