Sometimes working out is not the only solution to weight loss problems.

Proper diets could go a long way in ensuring you get the desired body.

And while working out may work for some people, others may just be too lazy for this life.

Here are some lifestyle changes that will see you lose weight efficiently without lifting a muscle;

  1. Take your coffee black.

There's nothing as breathtaking as a latte in the morning.

Additives to your desired cup of coffee in the morning such as sugar, cream and flavoured syrup may increase your calories intake for one cup of coffee.

Black coffee with no or with natural additives may go a long way in ensuring that caloric intake is minimized.

2. Carry a water bottle.

Research has proven that the brain may mix up the hunger and thirst signals and you may end up eating instead of drinking water.

You are more likely to respond to hunger with drinking water if you carry a water bottle most of the time.

Also, the body utilizes the water intake immediately unlike some foods which are stored in the body.

A person may also feel full after chugging in a lot of water and reduce the amount of food being eaten.

3. Let healthy food occupy the prime shelf.

The struggle of junk food is real and may include just seeing the food.

Walking into a kitchen where the prime shelf is occupied by junk food may make you lose focus on your body goals.

instead, replace junk food with healthier food and you'll get all the motivation.

4. Keep chopped veggies on hand.

It is said the more you fill up your veggies, the less you fill up your jeans.

Vegetables contain anti inflammatory antioxidants that displace snacks.

It therefore important that every meal you eat contain vegetables.

5. Kick the can.

Canned food and drinks may also increase the number of calories in the body.

Drinks with added sugar such as soda, iced tea and sugary coffee may perpetuate hunger and one may end up overeating.

It is advisable to take natural drinks from fruits or water and avoid processed drinks.

6. Free yourself from your desk.

When working in a desk set up, it is important to take lunch breaks literally.

Eating while working gets your brain distracted and you may end up overeating because you're not paying attention to what you're eating.

However, when you take breaks and process one thing at a time, you may end up full even before your plate is empty.

7. Make meals gram-worthy

Foods posted on the internet tends to look well presented and in perfect portions.

A gram-worthy plate takes time to prepare and therefore looks colourful.

Having gram-worthy as your motivation makes you critically think about what you're supposed to eat.
