Days after being publicly called a dead beat dad by his baby mama Zari Hassan, Diamond Platnumz is a happy man after his kids video called him.

Diamond and Zari have not been communicating personally and only did so through lawyers, something that strained their relationship.

After the public humiliation, Diamond for the first time reached out to Zari and things are now looking up.

The kids called him and an excited Diamond took to his social media to share his excitement.

'Nothing sweet than waking up to the sweetest video from your lovely kids.' he wrote

Here are things he can do to foster a good relationship with his kids moving forward.

1- Be visiting them

Although they are based in South Africa, Diamond can visit the kids more often and create a bond with them.

A video call is not enough.

2- Help cater for the kids

Zari is a woman of means, that is not even debatable, but that should not make Diamond ditch his parental responsibility.

3- Treat Zari better

Zari is and will always be the mother to his kids.

The least he can do is treat her with respect and also improve on their communication.

If Zari is happy with how Diamond treats her, chances are she won't refuse to let him see the kids.
