Dennis Itumbi has opened up about how con men approached him with a deal that was so good to be true.

The deal would have made him an instant millionaire.

Read his narration below.

"Pastor's Moment: Let me tell you a real life story.

A friend once called me, he had an idea of how I would make quick millions in an easy deal.

We all want money, so I drove to the Nairobi hotel.

The deal was simple. The pay was massive Shs. 15m for a very easy job on my part.

All I needed to do is clear a list of 3 people to come to see me in my office in State House, plus my friend and one more person.

That was easy.

I was also to allow my friend take my seat as if it was his office.

The entire operation was to last a maximum of 10 minutes.

My cash was to be delivered in a single move. Two lawyer's briefcase - in Dollars. As they left the office

The year was 2015.

Deal looked too good. My role too easy.

I was not going to be party of whatever would be discussed. The visitors would not even see me.

Clean deal.

I told my friend I will respond in 24 hours.

I drove direct to All Saints.

No answer from God.

I then dialled two friends.

One after listening told me, " unfortunately, I can only tell you do what your conscience says"

The other told me, " Do not do it, remember in Nairobi we came to sell ideas not shortcuts"

My inner being said, Easy money make it.

Had I dialled you what would you have told me?

24 hours later, I had not responded, I was struggling with my decision.

My friend called me and told me I had 12 more hours to decide and to entice me into the deal, " beyond what you get, there will be a similar amount if deal goes through"

Daaamn! This was the easiest cash I was going to make in my life. The risk was too low.

I debated within myself. I was on both ends of the rope.

Finally I picked my phone and called my friend, "I am sorry bro, No deal"

He pleaded and I told him, "Sorry let me keep the trust it is more valuable"

I hear him sigh in disappointment.

Literally, two days later, a whole team of people were arrested at State House for attempted fraud and cash almost the figure I had been promised was recovered.

Listen my friend, Work hard. Be patient and try implement your ideas.

Life will somehow add up.

I attach several screenshots below of similar attempts at State House, DOD, Harambee Annex and many other places.

When it happened at State House we did not say it was The President. When it happened at DOD we did not say it was the Military boss.

Why should we say it is the DP when it happens at Harambee Annex.

I do not know if all those mentioned are guilty. But I know this happens in Gvt offices without the knowledge of the President, his Deputy or Cabinet Secretaries. I experienced it first hand.

God Bless You all"
