It has now emerged that EMB artiste Peter Blessing had signed a 20-year contract with gospel artiste Bahati last year when he joined his label. A contact in which he was not allowed to keep a copy for future reference.

The Taita Taveta artiste joined EMB last year full of expectations but all those dreams died a natural and very painful death.

Speaking exclusively to a day after being released from Central Police Station - where he spent three cold night - Blessing said.

'I had signed a 20 year contract. He just asked me If I could sign the contract so that we could work together and I did. I had  expectations at the time so I decided to work with him as he had given me a platform.

Adding,

I never thought I would leave EMB Records, but now I have. Ant it's not that I have become famous.

I am not a star I am just beginning my dreams and I left EMB to protect my dreams and protect my family.'

Asked on whether he has a copy of his own, Blessings said

'I do not have a copy with me.'

Blessings alleged that he was accused of owing Bahati more than two million.

'I WAS CHARGED WITH OBTAINING 2,039,000 NA HATA SIJUI HIZO PESA ZINAKAA AJE.'

Days after his arrest, Bahati's management team deactivated Peter Blessing's Instagram account.
