A mother accused of slitting the throats of her two young children before leaving them for dead on a  sidewalk has surrendered to police.

Authorities say Shanice Martin's clothes were soaked in blood when she arrived at the police station two blocks from the scene of the attack on Saturday night in the Bronx

Miraculously, Martin's two-year-old daughter and six-year-old son are expected to survive despite having been cut from ear to ear with a razor blade.

The victims were rushed to Lincoln Hospital after witnesses flagged down passing police and Martin walked off.
