Show me an artiste who divides the gallery quite like Willy Paul. Those that love him, adore him. Those on the other side of the dichotomy simply loathe him.
I happen to like his talent most of the work he churns out. However, his recently released work, Alkaida has been met with scathing criticism from his fans. Many feel he has veered too far from what gospel traditionally sounds like -yes, Christians have very strong opinions on how their music should sound.
