Hit Or Miss: Gospel Star Ben Githae Releases Jubilee Anthem To Counter Onyi Jalamo's

First off, let us get one thing clear, Ben Githae has done nothing in way of alienating his core audience. If anything, he will now tap into a wider audience. You see, he sings in his native tongue of Kikuyu. And though quasi-intellectuals will want me to be politically correct about this particular fact, there is no skirting around it, Kikuyu's will largely vote for Uhuru Kenyatta in the upcoming elections.

Now that we have addressed the elephant in the room, allow me to introduce another man, this time a singer by the name Onyi Jalamo who sings in his native Luo tongue.

The man released a song called NASA that I have constantly heard played around and about town. Incase you haven't, this is the song I am talking about:

And I guess the heat was on over at Jubilee House and they decided they needed to counter this by having one of their own, a party supporter make a rousing anthem. And I must say, Ben Githae rose to the occasion.
