The unravelling saga of the stolen Mercedes Benz from the parking lot of Standard Media Group's parking keeps getting intriguing by the hour.

According to court documents Joy Doreen Biira's  E 220 Benz was driven out of the parking by her workmate, Aaron Ochieng. The charge sheet indicates that Ochieng’ had dishonestly retained the vehicle “knowing and having reasons to believe it to be a stolen motor vehicle”.

The suspect was arrested with the vehicle in Kisumu on December 31, 2016 and was detained at Industrial Area police station.

Ochieng’ was released on a Sh1 million bond or cash bail of Sh300,000 awaiting mention of the case on January 17 and a subsequent hearing on February 3. More details below...

Fair Anjiro But this ochieng fellow is a fool how do you steal your work mates car by driving off with it and then using the car yourself..even a chicken thief hides the feathers after feasting on the bird. He changed the number plates so to hide though he knows very well that some other details will show it is the same vehicle. Lets say he wasn't smart.
