Nairobi residents are shocked at a daring daylight robbery that saw two gunmen walk casually into a Mpesa shop and make away with phones and Sh100,000.
Residents of Uthiru, Kinoo and 87 claim that this is a normal occurrence, daily.
The CCTV footage has shocked many Kenyans who have raised issue with how easily the two robbers got away with the loot.
The less than 30 minute saga saw the two gunmen brandish their guns at the owner of the shop, his assistant and even shot at a customer who managed to get away.
"These so called petty thugs are on the increase and very dangerous. They should be shot on sight," one concerned citizen tweeted reacting to the brazen daylight robbery.
"Aren't these the same guys who robbed an M-PESA shop recently?" asked another.
Another added, "This a very normal daily occurrence in Kenya."
"That university student should join KDF. How he escaped that bullet though," another tweep commented.
