Former Ukoo Flani Maumau rapper, Grongi, is a disgruntled fellow! The Nothing To Lose hit maker, who for years struggled with a life-threatening drug addiction, has expressed his frustrations with the Kenyan Embassy in France, where he is based, for allegedly halting his operations as an entertainer.

In a video posted on his Facebook page last night, Grongi accused the Kenyan authorities of "refusing to renew his passport. This, he said, has affected his life greatly, since it has completely stopped him from traveling out of the European nation, thus, denying him many opportunities to eke out a living as a creative artiste.

He alleged that the Kenyan Embassy in Paris has been tossing him back and forth for over four months now, after his passport expired on January 25 this year. He says that since he applied for the renewal of the vital document, the embassy has been treating him like "garbage", even telling him to swear an affidavit.

"I want to know whether I am a Kenyan CITIZEN or not. Do I really have a nationality? The Kenyan embassy here (France) has been treating me like garbage every time I come here to ask for my visa. After a back-and-forth tussle with them for five months NOW, they are telling me to swear an affidavit. FOR WHAT? i was to travel to the states, sarajevo and hong kong but i am not able to. I am asking President Uhuru, and fellow Kenyans, to intervene for me to get my visa. I am suffering. that's all." -Grongi.
