Gospel-artiste-cum-pastor Ruth Matete has revealed that she gave birth to a bouncing baby girl a month ago.

Ruth, who lost her husband in Apri this year, said motherhood is not easy and she's adjusting to it.

Her baby's name is Joanna Toluwa, a name which was chosen by her pastor hubby before he died.

SOMETIMES I FEEL YOU KNEW YOUR TIME HAD COME BECAUSE OF HOW YOU HAD PUT THINGS IN ORDER LIKE NAMING THE BABY, WE AGREED TO CALL HIM JOSHUA TOLUWA APEWAJOYE IF ITS A BOY AND JOANNA TOLUWA APEWAJOYE IF ITS A GIRL,’ SHE revealed during his burial.

The mother of one in a post about motherhood wrote,

'"When she sleeps, you sleep" has not worked for me in the last one month😂 I have tried several times, but nothing. Go to bed. Get under the duvet. Instead of sleeping, I start thinking of what I'll have for dinner😋.So now, when she sleeps, I do other things, like make my hair😊. But the number of times I have video called the nanny to see my child.'
