But away from my tangential statements and back to the matter at hand: afew days ago, residents of the greater Eastlands area and BuruBuru in specific were shocked when police officers gunned down three young men they had been trailing. When the young men were identified, their parents vehemently denied the allegations leveled by the police and Kenyans sided with the parents because the lads hailed from good families.

Add to that the fact that one of the lads was a student in UoN and you can see why the entire scandal is a powder keg.
