Boy band Sauti Sol yesterday took to social media to appreciate the legacy that legendary musician E-Sir left. The late Kapuka singer passed on in 2003 in a road accident. He was on the fast-rise as the most adored artiste at the time of his passing.

His music still lives on; he had a major influence on the local music industry by setting the pace in creativity and quality of music production.

He's biggest hits include "Moss Moss" featuring Brenda, "Boomba Train" featuring Nameless and "Sare."

The band remembered him by posting one of his most memorable quotes:
