Kenyan rapper Octopizzo is arguably one of the most popular artistes in the country, but there are two things that distinguish him from the rest. The Kibera bred rapper has been mentioned as one the top global influencers during the world refugees day.

Octopizzo featured on the list of top 20 global #WorldRefugeeDay influencers. The "Ivo Ivo" rapper partnered with UNHCR on a project dubbed “Artistes for Refugees”, which seeks to improve the lives of the asylum seekers.

If you thought that was all, you're wrong. Octopizzo was also featured on South Africa's leading magazine "SA Hip Hop Magazine" where he was the only Kenyan artiste mentioned on the list of top 20 African Hip Hop stars.
