Kenyans have wholeheartedly received the incredible news of The Lion Of Muthurwa joining The Spurs next season. Just like his brother McDonald Mariga, he's shown tremendous growth and achieved more than we imagined!

The 24-year-old will be earning up to 35 million shillings per month given that his new club is among the best in England, completing the season third behind The Gunners and The Foxes in the 2015/2016 Premier League.

Wanyama joins the legends who played for The Spurs and even proceeded to be among the greatest in football history. These include Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Emmanuel Adebayor, Dimitar Berbatov, Titi Camara, Michael Carrick (currently with The Red Devils), Frederick Kanoute and US coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

The former Leopards' player has set records that will perhaps last for a VERY long time. The noticeably humble and extremely talented midfielder was previously a captain for Southampton and is one of the best mid-fielders in the EPL. That's why The Spurs booked him ahead of a major task: to win The Champions League.

Even after he and his former team, The Celts, beat Barcelona 3-1 in a 2012 Champions League match, he was humble enough to say that it was all team work and he couldn’t be any happier to have trounced one of the best teams in the world at the time.

Wanyama is truly #MadeOfBlack; he is part of the new, bold generation of Africans. We can't wait to see him star for his new club.

So, why are The Gunners mad at The Lion Of Muthurwa? Simple, because he has joined their rivals and given his prowess, that's not going to be very good for them. A great game we're looking forward to is on November 11, 2016 when The Gunners face The Spurs at The Emirates Stadium. Now that would be a great game to watch with my friends over a cold Guinness tower, wouldn't it?
